Introduction

I have been interested in watching several businesses’ history and records since I started studying business management and psychology. Reading about personalities like successful businessmen gives me a good motivation to think big and work accordingly. I was stunned by exploring Mr. Sanjeev Bikhchandani.

Who is the successful businessman?

Sanjeev Bikhchandani is the founder and vice executive of India’s biggest pure-play company, Info Edge. He is one of the well-admired Indian businessmen. He also possesses the position of co-founder of Ashoka University which is a dominant private university of Arts and Science education in India. 

Describe the successful person?

Mr. Sanjeev Bikhchandani had thoughts of achieving something big since his primitive graduating years. He had an active academic life as he worked right after his BA graduation and then enrolled for an MBA degree. His thoughts of doing some big work soon turned into a strong ambition as he left a well-played and secure position as a product executive in a manufacturing country and started his own company with a friend. He has always aimed at what he finally achieved which highlights to me that he has been a very committed and dedicated person toward his goal. Adding to it, he started the business in a small room and reached a dominant position in the global world. He was also awarded the Padma Shree, which is one of the highest civilian awards of the Republic of India.
 
How do I know him?

Well, as I said, I am fond of reading business stories. I was quite impressed by reading his, and could not help to search about the struggle and techniques that have resulted in enormous success on the internet. I also asked my teachers about Sanjeev Bikhchandani.

• Anand Mahindra is an Indian billionaire businessman.
• He is a chairman and managing director of the Mahindra Ugine Steel Company, a mumbai-based business company.

Describe the successful person?

• Well, he learnt different business skills from top international universities like Harvard. He mainly succeeded due to the implication of diversification skills.
• As he initiated the Mahindra group into the new business areas of real estate development and management of hospitality, he was awarded the highest civilian award in India.
• According to me, joining a business and working as per organizational goals is common but a perspective of taking the whole business to a level higher by diversifying it into various business sectors is extraordinary, which is why Anand Mahindra is at a popular position and has high levels of financial stability. 

How do I know him?

• I got to know about this person during a general knowledge session at my school.
• We were told how some Indian citizens have contributed to the progress of the country. The story of Anand Mahindra drew my attention till the end of the period.

 Who is the successful businessman?
Kiran Mazumdar Shaw is the executive chairperson and founder of Biocon Limited, one of India’s leading biotechnology companies.She is an inspiration to all entrepreneurs, showing that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.

Describe the successful person?
Kiran Mazumdar Shaw is a first-generation entrepreneur and global business leader with decades of experience in biotechnology. She received the Othmer Gold Medal for her exceptional contributions to the progress of science and chemistry. She has always followed her father’s steps during her journey. In fact, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw's role model was her father, who inspired her to endeavor for excellence. She started Biocon India in 1978 in the garage of her rented house with a capital of Rs. 10,000. 
 
How do I know her?
My parents were watching a news channel when I also happened to come across her interview, which was being conducted because of the company’s big achievement. The statistical data of her business performance was so impressive that I couldn’t help but search about the various struggles she faced and the awards she gained over time. After that day, I kept checking the company's status, published on various platforms. 

Conclusion

• Vijay Shekhar Sharma is an Indian technology entrepreneur.
• Specifically, he is the founder and CEO of Paytm, one of India's leading digital payment platforms.

Describe the successful person?

• Vijay Shekhar Sharma came from a small town, and he brought about a big change in the system. His co-workers adore him for his genuine attitude towards all.
• Talking about the Indian startup circuit, everyone loves him because he exemplifies startup resilience.
• He has experienced the harsh times when one would have to work hard even when there are great competitive risks and fear of losses or reputation danger.
• Since the declaration of Paytm shares, the company has faced some challenging drops in share prices.
• However, it has recently witnessed one of the biggest initial public offerings in Indian history, which is a great gain in the stock and shares landscape. 

How do I know him?

• Well, I was going through a social media page where I saw that a quote had been trending which originated from a poem written by Vijay Sharma.
• The poem mesmerized me as it could express how struggle and hope go hand in hand and eventually end up with massive success.
• I explored more about him and came across his company’s history and how it is working today.

• Hence I am influenced by the journey of Mr. Vijay, and I feel grateful to know about him and his success story.

1. What do you think should be the retirement age for men and women?
I believe that the age of retirement should not be decided on the basis of gender. Retirement is basically to take care of your post-retirement days and help you lead a stress-free life. Whenever an organization is satisfied with the overall contribution of the employee, he/she should be given proper benefits of the post-job plan.

2. What qualities do people need to run their own business?
All the skills and techniques are going to add up to the business's progress, but I would say that these are of no use if the person is not dedicated to the objective or the company. Also, the person should understand how management and planning work as they are the most integral parts of any actively working system.

3. What do you think are the key factors that contribute to the success of business?
As I am a commerce student and well aware of business management, I opine that coordination within the different departments as well as co-workers of the same department is necessary to justify a co-operated outcome. 

4. If you had the opportunity to open your own business,what would it be and why?
I would start a home decor business as in my generation, a major part of the population is developing an obsession with aesthetics around them. Personally, I'd like to collect historical paintings and antiques to decorate my room. 

5. What do you think about government involvement in various businesses?
According to me, government intervention can be a threat to the business as it deteriorates its reputation in the market, which in turn affects the market fame and position of that particular company. Moreover, there can be a probability of political pressure on the company, which is obviously harmful to the business’s image and performance.
