Introduction:
Sharing our knowledge and skills with others is a great way to teach. Here I would like to talk about the experience I had of teaching something new to my cousin.
What did you teach him/her?
The new thing I taught my cousin was how to do woolen thread craft. First I started to teach her the basic and minute techniques to be used in woolen thread craft. Also i explained about the needles which are used for craft.
When was it?
I taught her the woolen thread craft about one and a half years ago. During her vacation she visits my home to spend her vacation. We both used to spend our vacation in useful ways. I still remember during one of my vacations we both learned how to stitch kurtis.
How long was it for?
I think it goes around 2 months. Though she was not able to learn it completely, she learned most of the techniques and models. She used to spend 3 hours a day learning this craft.
And explain how you felt about it.
I felt great about teaching my cousin something new.
Conclusion:
Overall, we both used our whole vacation in a useful way. Though we learned many new things during our vacation, this year's vacation is one of the best memories for us.
Describe something you taught to your friend/relative- Model answer 2
Introduction:
Teaching something new to others, if it is to our friend it is an enjoyable and funny moment. Here I am going to share about my experience of teaching.
What did you teach him/her?
She was asking about 2 months to teach her how to stitch kurti with the old sarees. For some reason it was delayed. Luckily we got a 2 day holiday due to some reason. So I decided to teach her on sunday.
When was it?
I still remember the day when I taught her the skill, it was an sunday. The day before sunday she asked me to teach her the skill through mobile phone. But it is impossible to learn it through the phone so I asked her to come to my home.
How long was it for?
It was a bit tough to learn the minute things in stitching. Approximately it takes 5 months for her. Because she spent only Sunday learning it.
And explain how you felt about it.
It was a great experience. Because when we share our knowledge or skill it helps us to improve it and it never fades in our mind.
Conclusion:
Though she took 5 months to learn it, she didn't learn everything. After some days she felt no interest in it.
Describe something you taught to your friend/relative- Model answer 3
Introduction:
Teaching others is the best way to keep reminding ourselves of what we learned. Here I am going to talk about what I teach my neighbor.
What did you teach him/her?
She is my neighbor who is doing her 9th grade in a ABC higher secondary school, near my home. She said that she has to do a presentation about a topic in science, but she doesn't know how to prepare ppt. So I helped her to prepare for PPT by teaching her about MS. power point .
When was it?
It was her mid exam time. Her teacher asked her to prepare a PPT about a general topic from a science subject, which is going to be added in her internal marks. So she started learning about MS. power point from the month before the date for last submission.
How long was it for?
It took nearly 1 month to complete her presentation. She first learned about MS powerpoint and she prepared her PPT by her own ideas.
And explain how you felt about it.
It is a great chance for me to remember again what I learned a couple of years ago. Once I completed my schooling I had no chance to recollect those things, because of my higher studies.
Conclusion:
She is a good grabber, because during my schooling i took so long days to learn this MS powerpoint, but she took only a month to learn it.

What did you teach him/her?
Her name was Riys and she is from russia. She doesn't know how to cook Indian cuisine even though she doesn't know how to make coffee with the coffee powder which is available to her. I taught her basic recipes which she can cook easily.
When was it?
When I was doing my higher studies in Russia she helped to survey there. She came to India for her work related to her project. I stayed with her for 2 days after she landed in India. For those 2 days she learned the basic recipes.
How long was it for?
Even i taught her for 2 days, but she was not able to do it perfectly or correctly. Still sometimes she calls me to ask some abouts.
And explain how you felt about it.
It was so fun while teaching her. Because she doesn't know the correct name for some ingredients. If I say to mix one thing she mixes another thing. And the whole recipe was spoiled.
