Describe your favourite food - Model answer 1

Introduction
It is difficult for me to pick a single favorite type of cuisine because I adore eating.  I can think of anything, though, that I enjoy sometimes treating myself to as a special treat.

What dish or food item it is?
Speaking of fast food, I absolutely adore pizza. In fact, if my memory serves me right, pizza has been one of my favorite foods since I was in my first year of college. During those years, not a week went by when I didn't consume at least two or three pizzas.  Naturally, I don't consume them as frequently as I did when I was younger, but I still want to take advantage of them whenever I can without jeopardizing my heart and stomach's health.

How it is prepared or cooked?
To make this pizza, one must first prepare a pizza crust, which is simply a flat, circular bread with a diameter of around 10 inches (25 cm).  The crust is then uniformly filled with cheese, tomato sauce, and a variety of toppings (such as meat, olives, onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms, according on one's taste and preferences), and heated in an oven for around 20 to 30 minutes.

How common this food item or dish is?
In the country where I currently reside, pizzas have, like many other fast food items, gained popularity recently, particularly in and around the major cities where, for the most part, young people throng the fast food outlets in droves each day to sample the freshly made pizzas made of yeast-based dough and topped with tomato sauce, cheese, as well as a variety of other ingredients.

And explain why it is your favourite food.
Anyway, pizza is one of my favorite dishes, especially because it satisfies my desire with a divine flavor. I enjoy this dish since I can eat it either hot or cold, whether I'm working hard or commuting. After all, pizza is a meal suitable for every day and occasion.

Conclusion
Thus, pizza is my favourite food.

Describe your favourite food - Model answer 2

Introduction
I enjoy eating, and who doesn't? Naturally though, not everyone enjoys the same cuisine. For instance, while some people love fish, many others can't stand the scent of it! While many people just avoid them like the plague for various health reasons, some people may love fast food.

What dish or food item it is?
My favorite Japanese food is sushi, which consists of little rolls of cold-cooked rice with a vinegar flavor along with raw fish, veggies, and other ingredients like avocado, cucumber, and crab meat.

How it is prepared or cooked?
The distinctive flavor and texture of sushi are created by mixing cooked sushi rice with vinegar, sugar, and salt. The raw fish or vegetables are then placed on top of the rice after being meticulously chosen and thinly sliced by trained sushi chefs.

How common this food item or dish is?
There are plenty of sushi restaurants to choose from in most major cities throughout the world since sushi has grown in popularity in many nations. Sushi is frequently provided at upscale Japanese restaurants and sushi bars in my country's major cities.

And explain why it is your favourite food.
For a variety of reasons, I adore sushi. The fact that it is a nutritious food option rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and other necessary nutrients comes first. Second, it is a meal that can be easily adapted to fit a variety of tastes and preferences. Last but not least, I like the communal element of eating sushi because it's frequently offered in tiny pieces, making it simple to share and taste a variety of flavors.

Conclusion
Thus, sushi is my favourite food.

Describe your favourite food - Model answer 3

Introduction
I enjoy eating a variety of different foods, some of which are my favorites. While some of these foods have traditional recipes and cooking techniques, others don't.

What dish or food item it is?
Pizza, burgers, and other hot dishes are readily accessible. However, I love eating veg rolls. I love it the most out of everything. I would like to share a quick description of it with you.
In our city, there is a store that is renowned solely for its veg rolls. Their veg rolls are my favorite. Usually, 2-3 days a week, my coworkers and I visit there. They make veg rolls in such an awesome style. They provide a variety of flavors in their veg. Everyone enjoys it and returns to have it time and time again because of the delightful blend of cheese and many varieties of slop.

How it is prepared or cooked?
Cauliflower, green peas, carrots, french beans, capsicum, and potatoes are used to make the stuffing which is placed in a wheat refined bread and deep-fried. Deep frying makes the veg roll very crispy and delicious.

How common this food item or dish is?
Almost all of my friends enjoy these veg. rolls because of their nostalgic flavor. We also celebrate every friend's birthday, therefore there is a birthday party there. Not only that, but they have a variety of vegetarian alternatives.

And explain why it is your favourite food.
We all feel so good after eating it. It has become the primary liked food for all of us. Eating Veg roll relieves all my stress and sadness. Few people, in my opinion, ignore it after having eaten it once.

Conclusion
Thus, veg roll is my favourite food.

Describe your favourite food - Model answer 4

Introduction
I enjoy eating a variety of different foods, some of which are favorites. While some of these foods have traditional recipes and cooking techniques, others don't.

What dish or food item it is?
"Fried Rice" is my favorite food. This is, in reality, our country's most popular cuisine, which people frequently enjoy both at home and outside. When I go to one of my favorite cafes or restaurants, I generally order this meal.

How it is prepared or cooked?
Fried rice is an Asian meal produced by stirring cooked rice in a wok with veggies, soy sauce, and occasionally meat and eggs. Throughout Asia, there are several variants produced with various components such as onions, scallions, preserved meat, garlic, and so on.

How common this food item or dish is?
Though Fried Rice originated in Chinese cuisine, it is now a popular dish in many other Asian nations, including Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, and India. Perfectly cooked grainy and non-sticky rice, the perfect quantity of sauce, and high heat are what distinguishes the greatest fried rice.

And explain why it is your favourite food.
I eat this meal at least twice a week. This dish is made at home, but I occasionally eat it in a restaurant. There are several differences in how this cuisine is produced and the components used to create it. This dish is prepared and served differently at different places. This is my favorite cuisine for a variety of reasons. To begin with, it is really tasty, flavorful, and nutritious. This meal fits the requirement for various dietary qualities that our bodies require, which is the second reason I eat it frequently. It is available across the majority of our country, which is another reason why many people enjoy ordering it. Furthermore, someone does not necessitate a lot of work for preparing this dish.

Conclusion
Thus, fried rice is my favourite food.

IELTS speaking part 3 - Describe your favourite food

The follow-up questions for “Describe your favourite food” are given below in this article. The discussion round of the IELTS speaking test might be conducted for approximately 4-5 minutes in which you'll have to answer questions associated with your topic.

1. Tell me about the types of food that people eat in your country
The majority of people in my nation are unduly dependant on rice and curries - curries that are mainly served with fish and vegetables, whether at home or in restaurants. In fact, many people nowadays are growing accustomed to eating "international cuisines," mostly Chinese and other oriental varieties, in addition to traditional dishes for their daily needs. Furthermore, people in my nation like eating a variety of fruits, both imported from other countries and produced.

2. How are the eating habits of people now in your country different from their eating habits in the past?
If one thinks about the bulk of people's eating habits, they haven't altered much in the past. However, when it comes to the remainder of others, especially those from rich societies with greater incomes, they appear to feel more comfortable dining at restaurants rather than at home, most likely due to their hectic schedules. We can also notice that in recent years, more and more individuals are gravitating for foreign foods, which was not the case even a decade or so ago. Furthermore, fast food items have become quite popular among young children who are obsessed with consuming fast food. Finally, technology now allows individuals to order food from the comfort of their own homes.

3. How healthy is your country’s food??
When we compare my country's meals to those of many other countries, particularly those in the West, we may reasonably conclude that they are typically healthier. By the way, when I say "healthier," I mean that a small fraction of my country's population is as fat as in many other nations. Furthermore, not many people in my nation are unduly reliant on red meats - foods that have the potential to create several health difficulties - for their daily protein needs. Our use of oil and butter is also low, which helps to prevent heart disease.

4. Why do you think different cultures have different table manners?
People from different cultures consume different foods in varying forms, sizes, and textures, thus it's only logical that they have distinct table manners. It is also a question of personal taste, choice, and comfort, independent of one's cultural background. For example, instead of sitting motionless at a table, a person may bring a bottle of cranberry apple juice and sip from it because he or she wants to enjoy a lovely summer day outside as well. It is also possible that we have certain different cultural elements and behaviors when it comes to table etiquette. This is why "burping" while eating is accepted in certain cultures but inappropriate in others.

5. How may eating habits change in the coming decades?
'Eating habits' is a pretty wide phrase because it encompasses a variety of other elements, such as what we eat and why we eat it. In fact, I believe that as technology advances, particularly in food technologies, we will likely begin consuming many new meals or food products that we previously felt were dangerous to our health. Similarly, we will most likely abandon or entirely abandon some of our favorite meals in the next decades as a result of fresh facts and statistics discovered with the aid of cutting-edge technologies. But one thing is certain: as technology advances, we will have a wider selection of options when ordering meals.

6. How has technology changed the way we prepare our food these days?
Technology has undoubtedly altered many aspects of our lives, including, of course, how we cook meals. To begin with, modern technologies like as television and the internet allow us to learn about our favorite recipes relatively instantaneously, allowing us to make our favorite foods. Second, technological advancements have enabled us to have numerous advanced kitchen equipment, such as ovens and electric grills, that may help us make our cuisine in much less time and with much less labor. Perhaps not many individuals ventured to try to make cuisine other than what they already knew how to cook in the past, but nowadays many produce unique and foreign foods at home.

7. Do people of different age group have different food choices?
The dietary needs of the human body fluctuate as we progress through life stages. For instance, children enjoy sweet items like chocolates and cake, adults are usually dependent on fast food and people from old age mostly prefer home made food items.
