Describe your favorite park in your city Model answer 1

Where it is?
City Park is my favorite place in the city. It's conveniently located right across from the bus stand and nestled in the heart of the cloth market. What makes it even better is that it only takes me about 10 minutes to reach this beloved destination from my house.

How can you go there?
Normally, I prefer to take my scooter when heading to the park, as it's a convenient and quick mode of transportation. However, there are alternate options available. I could opt for a rickshaw ride, which would provide a different and more leisurely experience, allowing me to enjoy the surroundings along the way. Alternatively, there's a shortcut I can take by walking, which offers a pleasant change of pace and allows me to explore the nearby scenery.

How frequently you go there?
In recent times, I've noticed a significant decline in the number of people visiting the park compared to before. In the past, it was a cherished tradition for me to spend every Sunday there and occasionally organize delightful picnics with my cousins on weekends. However, the dynamics have shifted, and our schedules have become increasingly packed with commitments. As a result, I now find myself only able to make it to the park once a month. This change in frequency has been a reflection of the busyness that seems to have enveloped our lives.

And explain why this is your favorite park
One great aspect of this park is its lush green surroundings, which provide me with fresh oxygen to breathe. Inside, there's a lengthy walking path where I take relaxing walks to clear my mind and shake off the tiredness from the week. Additionally, there's a little zone in the park with many rabbits. I enjoy spending time there, playing with the rabbits and recharging myself.

Conclusion
In conclusion, my favorite park in my city is a serene oasis that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities. With its lush greenery, well-maintained pathways, and a tranquil pond at its heart, this park provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll, have a picnic with friends and family, or simply relax under the shade of the towering trees, this park has something for everyone.

IELTS speaking part 3 - Describe your favorite park in your city follow up questions

In this part 3 of the IELTS speaking test candidates were asked to respond to the  given followup questions, the given time for this particular part was about 4-5 minutes. There will be a longer discussion about the topic. Now, here some follow up questions were given for the topic describe your favorite park in your city.

1. What other fond memories do you have of this park?
As I mentioned before, my family and I used to have picnics on weekends. I would bring my painting supplies and sometimes paint outdoors. Other times, I would play tag with my kids after we ate. My wife and kids liked making flower chains from daisies and buttercups. They would even make me wear a flower crown that I couldn't take off until we got home. Those are some other enjoyable memories.

2. What do you think is the future of such parks?
I really wish that these parks are taken care of and cherished. It would be wonderful if we could have more of these parks everywhere, displaying and taking care of nature's amazing work. Even though cities are growing quickly, we can still believe in the idea of rooftop gardens.

3. What is your stand on roof gardens from an ecological habitat standpoint?
Creating habitable roof gardens for everyone individually could be challenging because people would want to personalize them, which might lead to using non-local plants that could confuse local wildlife. To make this idea successful, ecologists would need to carefully plan the gardens with local species in mind. This would need ongoing monitoring and careful implementation, but it's definitely possible.

4. What possible lessons can we learn from this park?
Certainly, there are several valuable lessons we can learn from this park. Firstly, the importance of preserving nature and creating green spaces within urban areas is evident. This park showcases how such spaces contribute to the well-being of the community by providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling city life.
