The line graph depicts the number of vehicle thefts that took place in Great Britain, France, Sweden and Canada from 1990 to 1999. Here, each year is calculated from January to December.

Out of four countries, Great Britain registered the most number of thefts, nearly 20 thousand throughout the period. However, there were ups and downs initially and gradually decreased after 1996 and reached 17 thousand.

When it comes to Sweden, France and Canada, Sweden registered a slight increase in the number of thefts after 1994, reaching nearly 15 thousand. Whereas, France and Canada maintained almost a similar trend from 1990 to 1999. But there was a certain difference of 10 to 15 thousand between them.

Overall, vehicle thefts have declined to a minimum in all countries except for Sweden. Moreover, it is interesting to see that every country experienced one of the highest numbers of vehicle thefts in 1996, with Great Britain having the highest of 21 thousand vehicle thefts.

The given line graph illustrates the number of vehicle thefts in Great Britain, Sweden, France and Canada between 1990 and 1999. Each year ended in December.

Of four countries, Great Britain recorded the highest number of thefts (20) between 1990 and 1999. The next highest number of thefts occurred in Sweden, followed by France and Canada. Interestingly, the car thefts in Sweden, France and Canada followed the same pattern over the first five years.

Here, Sweden recorded the 2nd lowest number of vehicle thefts (6) in 1990 but continuously increased to 14 in 1999. It reveals that France’s law enforcement did not take significant steps to control the theft cases. 

Finally, based on the given data, France and Canada maintained a similar pattern throughout the time period with slight variations. Initially, the number of thefts in France and Canada was around 6 to 8 per thousand and never reached 10 per thousand cars between 1999 and 1990.
