Globally, every school experiences a case of bullying frequently and it is considered one of the most widespread and underreported issues in schools. However, this act can affect the victim's mental health or physical health. Many students feel insecure in school if the administration does not take any steps in favor of them. In this essay, the possible issues and the way to get rid of these issues will be listed.

Firstly, not getting enough attention or affection from parents and teachers can result in bullying other classmates. They end-up in the act of bullying to ensure that they get enough attention and consideration. To exemplify, because of the hectic schedule of parents, they might not be able to give enough time to their children to listen to their incidents or problems in school. Moreover, they might not be there sometimes when their children need to convey something or want to talk to them. This dissatisfaction can make them attention seekers, for which the students start to find attention from the school where they start bullying their weaker classmates.

The school should impose strict rules and regulations like a zero-tolerance policy or anti-bullying laws. The teachers should encourage students to raise their voices. Moreover, parents should see to it that their children are not getting feelings of loneliness or are not left alone. Psychological training should be given to the students for understanding the dark side of bullying and to diminish the number of bullying cases.

To conclude, there are so many types of bullying but the main reason for bullying is because of mental health. To eradicate this issue, the children should be made aware of the consequences faced by the victim in the long term.

Model Sample Answer 2 Band 7.5 - Bullying is a big problem in many schools. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest?

Everyone in this generation has experienced bullying at some stage in their lives. However, it does not matter whether they are students, educators, or parents, everyone has a little bit part in preventing bullying in schools. There are different types of bullying that cause the mental and physical health of the victims. Some of the issues and solutions are discussed here.

Children getting ignored will find their weaker classmates to reduce their frustrations and anger by bullying them through their physical appearance, gender, religion, disability, and many more. As a result, the victims may lose their confidence or self-esteem which can eventually lead to depression. Furthermore, bullying weaker classmates can help them to hide their insecurities and can experience more power.

Schools should bring anti-bullying laws and strict actions should be taken against the students who break the rules. The educational institutes should encourage positive attitudes and behavior by rewarding them. Teachers should allow students to share their worst bullying experiences in class to make others aware of the consequences and reduce such practices. Schools should teach empathy and kindness at an early stage and every child should be made aware that everyone is different. Parents should also take care of their behaviour in front of their children as they look up to them.

To conclude, bullying in educational institutions should be addressed immediately and for this tutors, students, and parents should understand the side effects of this and should try to stand against the people who encourage this trend.

Model Sample Answer 3 Band 7 - Bullying is a big problem in many schools. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest?

Schools and parents play a vital role in moulding the career of children. However, some arrogant or notorious students set a trend of bullying others. But they do not know the consequences that will be faced by the victims in the long term. In this essay, I have stated the main cause of bullying and the solution to this arising problem.

School bullying has been one of the reasons for depression or self-belief. However, students getting exposed to the internet can be so dangerous because they can access both sides of the internet: the good as well as the dark side. They should have an invigilator to invigilate what they see or what they surf on the web as it can influence their mind. It is said that parents are the first teachers to their children. Children learn from what they see, so if any one of the parents is arrogant, then the children may look up to them and may learn from them. For example, whenever a student gets scolded for anything in school, they might become aggressive towards their classmates or teachers.

To solve this issue, some institutes have taken initiative to teach students about personality development and psychology. This will help the children to make their personality good and can maintain it in public, whereas psychology can help them to learn about human psychology. Even parents should spare some time to communicate with their children to understand their mental state.

To sum up, cyberbullying needs to be taken care of by the parents. Moreover, the educational institutes should look after the intrapersonal qualities of the children.

Model Sample Answer 4 Band 6.5 - Bullying is a big problem in many schools. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest?

Nowadays, it is claimed that bullying has become one of the main solicitude in the educational sector. However, it may affect the mind as well as physically of the bullied children. In this essay, the issues will be discussed and to find the way out of them.

First and foremost, there are different types of bullying which include: verbal, physical, emotional, cyberbullying, and racism. In school, the most common type of bullying that is experienced is physical bullying. Tickling, inappropriate touching of someone, kicking, pinching, pulling hairs, punching, pushing, slapping, spitting, stalking, throwing small and lightweight objects at a victim, teasing, and many more. For instance, spreading rumours about the victims can put mental pressure on them which results in depression, and not performing well in academics. In the long term, the victims might get disorders like antisocial personality or social loneliness.

On the other hand, the solution depends on the reaction of the victim. However, educational institutions should take the responsibility of preventing bullying on their campus and keep an eye on the students who are prone to bully their fellow mates as they have a violent mindset. Not only schools but families should also try to investigate and they should also take care of their children and should encourage them to become good human beings. Moreover, the government should also impose strict rules and regulations for school bullying cases.

To sum up, teachers and parents should take initiative to guide their children to raise their voices rather than suffering from bullying. Moreover, the school administration should look after the proper scrutiny to punish the bullies.
