Model Sample Answer 1 Band 8 - By punishing murderers with the death penalty, society is also guilty of committing murder. Therefore life in prison is a better punishment for murderers. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

If a murderer is given the death penalty, then everyone in society is also guilty of the crime. The issue if a jail term is preferable to the death penalty or not has been raised by this scenario in society. Individually, I believe that life in jail without the possibility of parole is the best, most rational, and most moral method to cope with murderers.3

There is no simple explanation for why people kill, thus a single act motivated by a number of circumstances should not be used to decide whether or not someone else's life should be taken. Among the most severe things a person can do is kill another person, it's not just a matter of coming up with a plan and carrying it out like most other chores are, rather, there's an internal battle going on between the killer's emotions and thoughts. As a result, basing a person's fate on their conduct of the past is unethical and should be eliminated.

It would be a contradiction to kill the person who committed the crime. When a person is condemned to die by the legal system, which is comprised of individuals chosen by society, the general population unwittingly takes on the role of the murderer. Nobody ought to have to shoulder the guilt for the repercussions of actions they did not take or cause. In addition, the cash that is used for the court system comes from the general public. As a result, not only the judgment but also the money is taken to carry out an activity that the majority of people would consider immoral.

In the end, putting murderers to death as a punishment is not an ethical choice. As a culture, people must work together to fix this unfair system and create our community a safer place for us and the next generation.

Model Sample Answer 2 Band 7.5 - By punishing murderers with the death penalty, society is also guilty of committing murder. Therefore life in prison is a better punishment for murderers. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Society has an obligation to look out for its members' safety. One such method is reducing the severity of punishments for criminals and murderers. Instead of executing them, many people think it would be better to put them in prison. Even though it's unlikely they'll ever be able to conduct crimes again, some people believe it's preferable to terminate their lives anyhow. This is why, among others, I believe that a life sentence in prison is the most appropriate penalty for murder.

In today's world, there are a variety of methods for committing crimes, as well as a growing population explosion. In addition, administrations in emerging areas have tough rules about illegal acts. They make an effort to determine who the actual culprit is and punish them accordingly. In point of fact, they are looking for more people to make sure it is the end of every wrongdoing, and they do not wish to get those people another chance. In addition, they are of the opinion that there is insufficient room for all the killers.

On the other side, the vast majority of people are of the opinion that offenders should spend their time behind bars as the most appropriate form of punishment. They are also able to modify their beliefs, and they can make up for their wrongdoing by participating in acts of kindness and charity. They also bring up another problem, which is the possibility that the justice system can fail to identify actual criminals or make an error about the severity of their sentence.

In conclusion, I agree with this statement because of all the reasons I gave above. We can give all criminals, even murderers, a chance to think about what they did and feel bad about it. They can also try to make up for their mistakes.

Model Sample Answer 3 Band 7 - By punishing murderers with the death penalty, society is also guilty of committing murder. Therefore life in prison is a better punishment for murderers. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Today's globe has steadily increasing crime rates. There are many people who believe that the death penalty is akin to murder. They favor a receptive judicial system instead. Canceling the death penalty is a controversial proposal that I do not support. And this is because sending a strong message to would-be murderers by punishing them is important, and it is wasteful to put people who cannot be rehabilitated into public prisons, where they will use public resources forever.

To begin, a sentence of life in jail is an unnecessary use of the money provided by the taxpayers. It is common knowledge that the administration of correctional facilities comes at a high expense. As a consequence of this, it is a waste to put money into murderers who will never be allowed to rejoin society after serving their sentences.

Moreover, there is no other way that is as successful as the death sentence in preventing people from engaging in criminal behavior. In other words, by not showing pity to those who have committed murder, we demonstrate that the life of any human being is valuable, and as a result, we deter other criminals from committing any kind of murder.

In conclusion, there are more important ways to spend tax dollars than on murderers and rapists, and the death penalty has been proven to be highly successful at discouraging violent criminals. In my opinion, we are not making the correct choice by abolishing the death penalty. More nations are expected to reevaluate their use of the death penalty in the future in light of this research.

Model Sample Answer 4 Band 6.5 - By punishing murderers with the death penalty, society is also guilty of committing murder. Therefore life in prison is a better punishment for murderers. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Whether or whether the death penalty is preferable for murderers is a topic of constant discussion. Some individuals believe that by passing a death sentence on to the defendant, we are blaming society for the crime. Others disagree. I wholeheartedly support the executions of such criminals as executing them will not only inspire fear of the law system but also provide comfort to those mourning the loss of a beloved one.

To begin, the most important argument is that if a murderer is going to be killed, other people will think twice before engaging in any kind of illicit activity. In addition to this, they will be terrified of the authorities, and since they will be aware of the repercussions of their actions, they will lack the guts necessary to engage in criminal activity.

Another rationale is that people will have more trust in the legal system and be able to seek redress as a result. According to a poll, residents of Dubai place greater trust in the regulations and laws than they do in the United States of America. Additionally, if criminals are imprisoned, the government will not only contribute to the safety of the nation but also send a clear message to anybody who believes they will escape punishment for their crimes.

In conclusion, it would be wonderful if the government passed rules that were more stringent since this would remove the primary driver of the issue and instill in the general populace a rekindled hope for a more secure future.
