Model Sample Answer 1 Band 8 - Doing an enjoyable activity with a child can develop better skills and more creativity than reading. To what extent do you agree?
In the contemporary era, society is evolving at the same rate as technological and other scientific advancements. Therefore, parents should make activities enjoyable for their children in order to develop their talents and imagination. Nonetheless, reading is frequently seen as the ideal activity. I believe that children's creative and skilled abilities can grow through participation in enjoyable activities.
To begin with, parents frequently overlook the importance of a child's physical growth in enhancing their cognitive ability. Facilitating a child's engagement with his classmates is vital for promoting his physical health. In addition, it is an irrefutable fact that creativity peaks throughout childhood. By allowing a child to be more active, parents may ensure that he or she explores their environment more thoroughly.
In addition, youngsters cannot comprehend suitable words and phrases while reading. Instead of attempting to instruct them, it is preferable to involve children in activities they like. Each child has his or her own style of creativity, which can be strengthened with the right guidance. At different stages of growth, children require different types of activities. When elders fail to recognise these interests accurately, their abilities may become ineffective over time.
However, reading is also helpful and may be pleasant if parents assist their children to select the correct books. Reading is superior to dance and football for fostering creativity in children, in my opinion. Reading does not develop social skills, obviously. Therefore, I believe that youngsters must engage in a variety of activities.
In conclusion, I completely believe that there are many perks of including the significance of storytelling and reading in a child's daily routine. However, there are various additional methods for enhancing children's talents.

Model Sample Answer 2 Band 7.5 - Doing an enjoyable activity with a child can develop better skills and more creativity than reading. To what extent do you agree?
There has been a strong emphasis on reading in child education, while some feel that children develop their creativity and other talents through engaging in enjoyable activities with their parents rather than by reading books. I totally agree with this viewpoint, as children develop their motor and cognitive skills solely through playing enjoyable sports, particularly during the preschool years.
Firstly, while children in elementary school may be inclined to read, pre-schoolers cannot concentrate for long periods of time since their attention span is much shorter than that of adults. Therefore, it would be quite difficult for parents to instil the habit of reading. For instance, many pre-school-aged youngsters are more interested in playing with colourful toys and shapes than in gazing at the illustrations in books. In addition, this explains why children are more engaged in pretending and playing and less interested in reading books.
Second, play encourages children to emotionally mature and gain self-confidence. In addition, there is no scientific proof that reading at a young age is crucial for a child's development; in fact, the opposite appears to be true. In many countries, the early years of education emphasise play. Children are only encouraged to read if they demonstrate an interest in developing this skill.
In conclusion, there are different perspectives on which strategy is more advantageous for the development of children's talents and inventiveness. In my opinion engaging in activities that a child enjoys, particularly toddlers, helps to develop their talents and creativity more than reading also they remain physically fit and remain more conscious in their academics.

Model Sample Answer 3 Band 7 - Doing an enjoyable activity with a child can develop better skills and more creativity than reading. To what extent do you agree?
In order to prepare their children for a school where literacy skills are developed, parents around the world spend time with their children reading and playing sports. However, in recent years, it has been observed that playing with children in the form of fun activities has aided their personal development far more than studying books. Although reading is essential to their scholastic success, activities such as chess, crossword puzzles, and creative arts develop their brains considerably more rapidly. I wholeheartedly concur with this statement.
To begin with, this is because there is no precise age for reading, and forcing youngsters to acquire this skill before they are ready could have negative consequences. For instance, many guys are reluctant readers, perhaps because they were forced to read, which turned them off to the activity. By focusing on other activities and developing other skills, such as creativity and imagination, children typically acquire reading quickly when they are ready. In addition, the significance of fostering a child's creativity and imagination must be highlighted. Children acquire social and cognitive skills through play.
Additionally, practising pleasant sports encourages children to emotionally mature and gain self-confidence. Reading from a young age is not necessary for a child's growth, contrary to the findings of scientific studies. Children are only encouraged to read if they demonstrate an interest in developing this skill.
In conclusion, I feel that reading and engaging in enjoyable activities are vital for a child's general development, but engaging them in creative arts and enjoyable games swiftly increase their skill development.

Model Sample Answer 4 Band 6.5 - Doing an enjoyable activity with a child can develop better skills and more creativity than reading. To what extent do you agree?
Currently, parents and adults attempt to encourage children's creativity and skills by encouraging them to read. Moreover, it has been proven that playing is more helpful than reading. I believe that playing can increase children's skills as compared to reading, and in the following paragraphs, I will explain why, by using concrete instances.
There are a number of reasons why other enjoyable games are preferred for skill development. Initially, travel with parents. It was surprising that parents abandoned their jobs and travelled with their children to discover the local culture and way of life. Furthermore, children gain knowledge from what they have observed and experienced. When they lived with a host family, their children were more extroverted and outgoing. Consequently, diverse skill sets can be developed via alternative activities.
Another possible explanation is that forcing infants to read decreases their desire to read. In addition to this, our children's inability to comprehend what the intricate story is introducing is damaging. In contrast, there are instances in which nations encouraged pre-playing classes, which were well-known for fostering the creative potential of youngsters. They feel that youngsters who are forced to memorise a large vocabulary will have a negative impact on their desire to learn and future growth.
In conclusion, I feel that play is essential for skill development, but it is also essential to give reading practise and a variety of books to children. To be accurate, a combination of reading and playing should be applied, which is why schools have designated reading and playing hours.
