Model Sample Answer 1 Band 8 - Leisure is a growing industry, but people no longer entertain themselves as much as they used to because the use of modern technology has made them less creative. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
The current entertainment sector is directly attributable to the rapid development of technology. Many individuals believe that the introduction of more advanced technology in an area inhibits human creativity. Others, though, believe that it has helped people become more inventive. I disagree with the assumption that individuals do not entertain themselves as much as they formerly did due to technological advancements.
To commence with, contemporary technology has altered the meaning of leisure. Previously, leisure meant going out, meeting people, talking with them, playing outdoor games, going to the movies, etc. However, today's leisure options are diverse. There are numerous things to do within the confines of our home. In addition to being able to watch innumerable shows on national and international networks, we can also play online games and talk to friends and family from any location. In addition, armchair tourism allows us to visit any historical site or museum from the comfort of our armchair. Therefore, it may appear as if people do not enjoy themselves as much as they did in the past.
On the other hand, technology has granted us more leisure time, yet we are unable to establish a balance between work and play. We have turned into workaholics. In the past, life was simpler. People worked to meet their basic needs. Work is no longer merely a way of life. It is for personal satisfaction. We establish objectives such as a house or a car. We prefer this lifestyle. Now that our standard of living has risen, it has come at a very steep price.
In conclusion, I believe that the supplied statement is weak because people today devote time specifically to their own entertainment. Therefore, contemporary technology has not diminished human creativity; rather, it has merely altered the notion of leisure and people's way of life.

Model Sample Answer 2 Band 7.5 - Leisure is a growing industry, but people no longer entertain themselves as much as they used to because the use of modern technology has made them less creative. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
As a result of the emergence of new technologies, people have become dependent on the technological benefits it brings to society to make people's work easier. Therefore, many say that the new technological developments have rendered individuals less innovative and less motivated to innovate their daily routines. I completely disagree with the statement because technology has made people's lives easier and more inventive.
Firstly, technological equipment has a significant impact on our work. As a result, the lives of individuals have been significantly altered; yet, this has not resulted in an increase in laziness, but rather a boost in productivity and creativity. Nevertheless, some individuals have gained notoriety for their use of such applications and are leaders on reel platforms. Universities are one such example since the institution's technology has been exposed to the benefits of employing a computer and other equipment. In addition, with the help of modernity, people are becoming more creative and are becoming aware of the skills they possess and the areas in which they need to concentrate.
In addition, technology is employed in all movies, which has boosted the demand for employees and, consequently, the employment rate, as organisations are hiring skilled individuals. Since they began employing technology, creativity has increased in many sectors of business. In addition, the invention of a speedier network has made communication simpler, and unskilled people are utilising automation to learn more and bring their businesses online.
In conclusion, I feel that if technology is utilised effectively, it can have a number of positive effects on people's creativity, as opposed to making them dependent and ultimately lethargic. However, individuals should use these tools in a limited capacity to cultivate their own originality.

Model Sample Answer 3 Band 7 - Leisure is a growing industry, but people no longer entertain themselves as much as they used to because the use of modern technology has made them less creative. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Many think that as technology evolves, those who utilise it become less innovative. Others believe that it has several benefits and can be utilised to boost creativity skills, however, the majority of individuals believe that it diminishes creativity. I disagree with the prior viewpoint that technology has stifled human creativity.
There are numerous justifications for my position that I would evaluate. As a result of Science and sophisticated technology, living in the twenty-first century is quite simple, and individuals can fulfil their tasks quickly and efficiently. Due to the fact that people can spend their time in a variety of ways, there are currently numerous varieties of recreations. In addition, entertainment is included in all activities, not just in conventional formats but also in several novel forms. As time progresses, people tend to enjoy their time in increasingly simple and unique ways, as their cup of tea improves.
Moreover, nowadays many people are addicted to technology but if those individuals use that extravagant technology for their work, it can help them to increase their creativity. Even though a YouTube lesson video is only a few minutes in length, the technology-generated material offers a novel perspective, such as a tutorial video on YouTube.
Additionally, it varies from person to person due to the fact that some individuals spend their leisure time with both family and friends. Children use their leisure time to indulge in fun games and socialise with their peers. For example, common people go to the movies, as well as picnics and other activities, for entertainment. Second, in the past, the majority of leisure time was spent gossiping and playing card games with others. Compared to the past, living today is incredibly simple.
In conclusion, I feel that current technology may enhance people's creativity through its enjoyment if they spend time researching every element and are courageous to learn continuously, as long as they do not rely on it.

Model Sample Answer 4 Band 6.5 - Leisure is a growing industry, but people no longer entertain themselves as much as they used to because the use of modern technology has made them less creative. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
To maintain a balance between work and play, leisure is a vital component of a person's life. But the development of technology has made it difficult for people to enjoy it creatively. I disagree with the assertion since, thanks to modern technology, today's youth have become resourceful and creative in their spare time.
In the past, children spent their leisure time playing outside and watching a limited number of television programmes; this type of activity caused them to become stagnant because their capacity to learn something new lacked sufficient resources. Today, children can still play outside, but they have a wider variety of activities. As people continue to produce new ideas for enjoyable activities, they can experience a new form of leisure. In this way, children and adults make use of technology to enjoy learning. Moreover, with more shows on television today, people have more opportunities to discover various phenomena simply by watching television at home.
In addition, people in the past had trouble earning additional money due to a lack of available opportunities, and the most popular leisure activities in the past were merely chatting with neighbours or doing nothing. Today, however, because of contemporary technology, many are resourceful and utilise their devices to earn extra money. This form of creativity allows individuals to have enjoyable leisure time because it keeps them occupied and creates extra revenue.
In conclusion, modern technology did not inhibit the inventiveness of individuals in their leisure activities; rather, it enabled them to explore new possibilities and spend leisure time in a more entertaining and resourceful manner.
