Model Sample Answer 1 Band 8 - Nowadays, celebrities are more famous for their glamour and wealth than for their achievements, and this sets a bad example to young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Celebrities are now more well-known for their wealth and fashionable lifestyle than for their professional accomplishments and wealth. Young people are negatively impacted by this inclination. I wholeheartedly concur with this since excessive displays of wealth and an emphasis primarily on materialistic goods can produce generations without morals and values.

First off, the media consistently portrays boasting as a bad habit of behaviour, deceiving many young followers throughout the world. Young people consequently begin to believe that such behaviour is a surefire path to success and acceptance among peers. Not only is it risky, but it also creates the false impression that striving for greatness in any endeavour is not important. For instance, several well-known internet bloggers assert that attaining success and financial independence is simple and requires little effort. Many youngsters are unaware that every well-known blogger has a sizable crew in charge of content creation and promotion.

It is also debatable whether or not materialistic ideals are the most significant and should be pursued by everyone. Additionally, spiritual growth is just as significant as physical and financial growth. People are likely to become confused in this fast-paced society without strong values and principles since one trend can simply be replaced by another. In other words, it is harmful for young, impressionable minds to believe that wealth and popularity are closely related. Young vocalists would be a good example. Some of them are well-known for being scandalous, while others use drugs as a result of how money and fame altered their perceptions.

In conclusion, I firmly feel that rewarding great achievement with wealth and glitter is harmful to the next generation. I would advise staying away from an affluent lifestyle that is openly promoted in the media.

Model Sample Answer 2 Band 7.5 - Nowadays, celebrities are more famous for their glamour and wealth than for their achievements, and this sets a bad example to young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Fame and riches depend on hard effort, persistence, luck, and inventiveness. These attributes make them so famous and beloved that the whole nation wants a glance or autograph. Few  say kids shouldn't follow their footsteps because they'll lead them astray, but I disagree. This essay analyzes the pros and cons of idealizing celebrities before drawing a conclusion.

Movie and sports stars can be role models for society's youth. Treating them like an idol can help them reach their goal. Following their footsteps can lead to explore their own potential, showcasing marvels and genius. Their creativity, initiative, and skills motivate teens to change for the better. For instance, legendary Akshay Kumar, a well-known Bollywood star, is recognized for his imaginative and motivating films rather than for his money or good appearance. His qualities and attributes have encouraged moral and ethical standards in a society.

Contrarily, Few feel that following negative celebrities might mislead young people. Proponents of this view argue that emulating their negative roles at home or in the streets can harm society. Celebrities are often shown in smoking ads, charged with narcotics and other crimes, and children following their path can destroy a society's ethical standards. Sanjay Dutt, a Bollywood actor known for his money and villain roles, has inspired violence and criminality on the streets of Mumbai by teenagers seeking adrenaline and adventure.

To summarise, the aforementioned offers solid justifications for both viewpoints. Famous people impact youth, who are immature and growing. However, one shouldn't criticize the celebrities because it depends on how the younger generation views and advances the issue.

Model Sample Answer 3 Band 7 - Nowadays, celebrities are more famous for their glamour and wealth than for their achievements, and this sets a bad example to young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Celebrities are the best examples of those who can invite renown because of their commanding presence and powerful impact thanks to the mass media. People follow their examples because of how gracefully they live, which is considerably more impressive than their own accomplishments. It may take some time to resolve this issue because it requires urgent attention.

Celebrities are characterised by their enigmatic beauty, which makes it such that the public only sees their outward elegance. However, their accomplishments are sometimes overlooked. This is primarily a result of idolatry, when beauty is valued as an asset. Therefore, a person needs a role model who is exceptional enough to stand out in today's world. This idea is also made worse by the media, which prioritises one's outward appearance. For instance, commercials employ famous people whose commanding presence hypnotises audiences to follow. Given that businesses' main weapon is inventiveness, this is exceedingly difficult to regulate.

Despite the attention that artists' wealth and elegance receive, this inspires individuals to strive for success rather than remain unexceptional and plebeian. However, falling into difficulties is the result of losing sight of one's goals. Because it is seen as a fad more than anything else, it has a negative effect on our society because people no longer have the will to excel in their respective industries. Instead, they are more interested in becoming beautiful than successful.

Overall, I believe it has both favourable and bad comments. Even when one is given more weight than the other, people nevertheless use it as a benchmark for standards. Although the negative aspects could outnumber the positive ones, I think that overall trends should be acknowledged on their own.

Model Sample Answer 4 Band 6.5 - Nowadays, celebrities are more famous for their glamour and wealth than for their achievements, and this sets a bad example to young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Children today are more influenced by well-known people. They assert that rather than for their intelligence, people follow superstars more for their style and wealth. This article will make the case for why young people are affected and how this has a negative impact on them.

The younger generation is greatly influenced by celebrities. Social internet enables an ordinary person to become famous overnight, making them remarkable. If someone lacks talent but is good at showing off money, they'll become renowned. For example, a rich individual can publish a video of riding his/her latest Tesla automobile on Instagram, and millions of people will like it. Young people are attracted to materialism rather than work.
In general, young people are more easily drawn to a materialistic environment than they are to real work.

Despite the fact that they are often admired, celebrities have a harmful influence on children's minds. Children attempt to emulate them in every way and want to be like them in the future, which affects their early career. Instead of studying, they spend time emulating them. For example, kids strive to maintain glamour by wearing the same clothes and filming faultless videos, which affects their academic enthusiasm and performance. In conclusion, young people are easily pressured by the phoney world without considering the harmful consequences.

This essay argued that young people are captivated by famous celebrities and ignore their talent. It's been claimed, and I think it's true, that children are more drawn to superstars because of their wealth and good looks than because of their talent.
