In recent times, the craze of becoming a celebrity is increasing as there is more scope for earning money in this field than in others. However, many other fields are there, such as politicians who serve the country and make their contribution to the development of the country. I believe this is a negative trend more than a positive trend, and my views are discussed below with valid points.
Starting with, as many people are getting paid in crores as actors, people have shifted their view of becoming politicians and contributing to the nation. There are several reasons behind the high pay of actors, like the high craze of global citizens in movies and commercial songs. The sponsors and producers are getting a lot of views on the songs in which they make commercials and pay actors a lot of money. For instance, at present, people like to know about the lifestyles of the actors and see the celebrities as their idols after seeing the acting done in a movie rather than getting motivated by seeing real-life leaders like politicians and government civil servants, which increases the trend of celebrities in the world.
Coming to the side effects of this trend, people are motivated by seeing celebrities. It is mandatory that all films have a positive message to society. Some films, such as those based on crime, gangsters, and so on, have a negative impact on society. Consequently, many people distract themselves from the right path and indulge themselves in bad ways of living life.
To conclude, due to the increase in the popularity of movies and songs, celebrities are earning more money. This has many negative impacts on society, such as how movies based on crime change the mindsets of people in a negative way.

Politicians who give their lives for the country are getting less money than actors who just work for themselves. There are many reasons behind this, and I believe this ongoing trend has a negative impact on society as people will only think about their lives rather than contribute to the country.
To begin with, one of the main reasons behind actors getting paid more is their popularity among young people. As in our country, youths are more and many children get influenced by seeing celebrities in whatever they do, such as commercials, advertisements, movies, songs, etc. Businessmen appoint celebrities as their brand ambassadors in order to attract the attention of the people interested in their product.
As to the impact of this, in order to earn money, people will go into the acting field rather than serve their own country as civil force, army, politicians, etc., as there is less income in this field than in the acting field. Consequently, as many people will go into the acting field, it is not compulsory that one will succeed in that field. After that, people will go into depression and anxiety. For instance, according to TOI, only 25% of people succeed in getting settled in acting and modeling. Others fail to achieve success in this field, get demotivated, and commit crimes to survive in life.
To conclude, due to the craze of actors among the youth, many businessmen make them brand ambassadors of the company and give them money, but this has a negative impact on society as many people who would go into this industry would not be able to succeed and would commit crime for survival.

That's the reason almost all brands do their advertisements by getting popular personalities involved in them rather than politicians. For example, brands like Adidas, Nick, Ceat, etc. have been giving a large amount of money to their brand ambassadors as they are in profit after making them their brand ambassadors rather than politicians.
To conclude, as popularity and money are greater in becoming actors than politicians, people are making their decision to become celebrities. Due to this, many people will get to know about a good startup.
