Model Sample Answer 1 Band 8 - Nowadays education quality is very low. Some people think we should encourage our students to evaluate and criticise their teachers, others believe that it will result in a loss of respect and discipline in the classroom. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.

Excellent education is now difficult to find in modern society. There is an ongoing argument about whether it is advantageous for students to assess and criticise their classroom instructors. There will be a deeper investigation of both the opinions and my own opinion.

Understanding the formal viewpoint, it was believed that allowing students to rank and criticise their professors would improve education. If students have the authority to give remarks and question their professors, then teachers will develop their teaching techniques and will try to teach students by applying easy and effective techniques. To cite an example, an article in a local newspaper proved that, since students criticise and review teachers, they not only started to recognize their mistakes but also improve them. Thus, remarking is beneficial for both of them in the learning process.

In contrast, other supporters who assess and criticise their professors would lead to a significant drop in discipline and esteem. Although it depends on the conduct of the students, the majority of instructors dislike getting criticisms and comments about themselves; as a result, it has a negative impact on their respect and the classroom atmosphere. For example, a teacher refuses to instruct in the classroom since the students were misbehaving and making irrelevant remarks. Consequently, the behaviour of the students affects their learning itself.

To conclude and express my opinion, allowing students to give reviews and criticise their professors is a great way to improve educational quality; but it should be acceptable to a limited extent as their behaviour does not affect teachers' respect.

Model Sample Answer 2 Band 7.5 - Nowadays education quality is very low. Some people think we should encourage our students to evaluate and criticise their teachers, others believe that it will result in a loss of respect and discipline in the classroom. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.

In recent times, finding methods to enhance instructional content is often one of the top concerns of any education system. In certain countries, high school students are encouraged to comment on their professors; while, others think that this might lead to a lack of respect and classroom discipline. The viewpoints and my opinion will be addressed further.

On the one hand, it is true that allowing students to critique and assess their professors will increase the quality of education. In many instances, the amount of comprehension of a student relies more on the manner in which the instructor conducts the study than on the study materials themselves. To cite an example, it would be impossible for professors to evaluate if their technique of instruction is correct or incorrect if they did not get feedback from the students who are having difficulty with it.

On the other hand, there are several downsides to commenting and criticising their lecturers.
Such as, teachers are prone to offensive remarks from pupils; as a result, teachers believe that they are exerting effort in the classroom and deserve respect and admiration from their pupils instead of critique. For example, in the school systems of many Asian countries, instructors often hold this viewpoint. Apart from this, the classroom may be in disarray as a result of the many remarks; however, without feedback, it would be hard for instructors to satisfy their students, who have varied perspectives.

To conclude and to offer my position, the education system is not necessarily improved by inviting high school pupils to remark on their instructors.

Model Sample Answer 3 Band 7 -Nowadays education quality is very low. Some people think we should encourage our students to evaluate and criticise their teachers, others believe that it will result in a loss of respect and discipline in the classroom. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.

Finding techniques to improve instructional material has been one of the most important problems of education systems in recent years. In certain nations, high school students are urged to remark on their teachers, while others believe that this might result in a lack of regard and classroom discipline. The viewpoints and my opinions will be examined in further depth.

Discussing the formal standpoint, it is advantageous for the overall quality of the educational experience if students are allowed to talk and express their opinions. In addition, it will aid educators in enhancing the strategies and resources they employ to educate. For instance, if teachers gather student comments, they will be able to identify their errors and design more effective teaching tactics. Therefore, for the betterment of the education quality, encouraging students to provide feedback is not only good for professors but also helpful for the students themselves.

However, this argument has a negative influence on the classroom's discipline and the instructors' respect. Since some students' unappreciated behaviour affects the environment of the classroom and their inappropriate comments, lead to difficulties for their teachers. The findings of the survey indicated that at least one instructor has been terminated as a direct consequence of a student's inappropriate comment. Therefore, it is immoral for students to make remarks and assertions while behaving improperly.

In conclusion and offering my position, although classroom environment and discipline is important, permitting students to provide feedback is essential for enhancing the quality of education; however, they must do it in an acceptable way and conduct.

Model Sample Answer 4 Band 6.5 - Nowadays education quality is very low. Some people think we should encourage our students to evaluate and criticise their teachers, others believe that it will result in a loss of respect and discipline in the classroom. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.

In recent times, educational quality has been a contentious matter of discussion. Furthermore, in many nations, people are still discussing whether or not students should review and criticise in the classroom to improve the quality of education, while others are worried that it produces downsides such as increasing undisciplined and losing respect.

Education quality might enhance the learning capacities of students. In addition, asking questions and communicating with professors by providing or getting feedback is advantageous for both individuals. As a result of expressing their views and making comments, pupils strengthen their thinking and response abilities. Therefore, remarks and comments are essential, not only for the improvement of educational quality but also for the development of the students' personalities.

On the other hand, remarking and comments on the professors could affect the environment of the classroom and the discipline of the students. Because the different perspectives and opinions of the students create counterproductive effects. Besides this, more comments and criticisms disturb the teacher, and eventually, it will disturb the classroom's environment and teachers’ respect. For instance, an interview with a professor revealed that the majority of students in his course irritate him by making improper comments. So, encouraging students to ask questions to teachers is beneficial; however, up until an acceptable extent.

To conclude and present my perspective, in order to develop personality and thinking abilities, it should be allowed for the learners to ask questions to their teacher; however, learners should behave carefully so that they do not affect their professors’ respect.
