Considering the formal viewpoint, a common misconception is that more TV shows are better for viewers. Because of technological developments, editors are revising their programs and content to include more engaging elements. As a result, viewers are more inclined to tune into more channels in search of engaging shows. For example, a survey conducted by newspapers found that the vast majority of readers can define their areas of interest and media consumption habits. Increases in television production are good for both the entertainment sector and the public.
