In this day and age, compared to yesteryear, weddings around the world have become more expensive and larger. The major reason is, it helps people to socialize more and have one-to-one conversations. I firmly bolster such an occurrence. Both the reasons and my opinion are justified below. 

Scrutinizing the root causes, the first and foremost reason for such lavish weddings is that it is a one-time experience and to celebrate it wholeheartedly people having middle-class standards spend a lot for their own happiness. Anyone who has previously attended weddings will naturally strive to outdo their previous experiences in terms of size and cost. This proclivity to outperform previous achievements is combined with increased disposable income. Most importantly, there has been a drastic surge in the economies around the world, allowing people to spend money on various luxuries such as memorable wedding parties.

According to my perception, the major reason is people will interact with each other and it will help them socialize more and bring them close. Apart from this, assuming a person is planning a wedding that will not financially burden them in the future, it is a huge plus for the bride, groom, and all attendees. Moreover, in certain nations marriage is considered to be an auspicious, meaningful, and enduring moment for instance. The small and large bursts of happiness produced by such an event are worth more than a variety of other expenses that people frequently prioritize.

To sum up, excessive spending in any area can be detrimental if it greatly exceeds one’s earnings. However, it is beneficial for individuals to talk and socialize. Also, it is said to be very auspicious and meaningful. Therefore, it is critical that weddings do not go above and beyond one's means.

Compared to yesteryears, in today’s generation, marriage ceremonies in various countries are more lavish. The major reason behind this is the impact of various social networking sites on people's lives is the primary reason for this trend. I truly believe it is a more detrimental phenomenon than an affirmative. The reasons are discussed in the ensuing paragraphs. 

The first and foremost reason is social networking sites such as Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram are the main reason for lavish weddings. More specifically, people are so heavily influenced and inspired by these mediums that they tend to imitate each other. For example, 90% of the population cares about their fame, so much is invested in wedding planners, famous photographers, and makeup photography by their artists.

On the other hand, while an expensive wedding can be fun, couples should consider some potentially negative consequences before setting a large budget. For starters, it causes stress. In other words, selecting more expensive wedding items and services may raise your expectations and, as a result, your stress level. If the band you paid a lot of money for ends up being terrible, it will be a bigger problem than if you hired a cheaper DJ. Secondly, it has a devastating effect on a person's financial situation. To illustrate, a bank conducted a survey in 2015, which revealed that the number of loans taken for marriages had increased to 85%, resulting in a massive amount of debt, which was one of the burdensome responsibilities for salaried people.
             
To sum up, with the popularity of wedding-themed reality TV and in-depth coverage of celebrity weddings, many couples are feeling pressure to spend even more money on their big day, but going into debt is almost always a bad way to start a marriage.

In many countries, getting married is becoming more expensive than in the past. This is because many people do not understand why a wedding is held. I do not support such an occurrence in my opinion. So, in this essay, I will elaborate on this topic.

Nowadays, many people marry for the wrong reasons. Some people are only interested in the wedding day itself, rather than the entire marriage. It's all about status and being seen these days. Many people are competing to see who can throw the best wedding, which raises the overall cost of the event. This has a negative impact because it leaves many people in massive debt, and they begin their lives paying off debts rather than enjoying their love.

Weddings were traditionally held for close family and friends, with the goal of celebrating love above all else. However, it is now more important to wear the best designs and even invite people you don't know simply because they are of higher status. Many people will tell you that their wedding will be the talk of the town. It demonstrates that people marry for a variety of reasons, including the desire to be seen, to show off, or to demonstrate that they are capable of doing so. A lavish wedding would be that of a popular icon named Somizi and his fiancee Mohale. It was a stunning wedding.  As a result, some countries would like to replicate such an expensive wedding.

To summarise, today's weddings are more expensive than ever before because society believes that if it isn't big, it's boring.

It has been repeatedly observed that the rising cost of weddings in many countries is becoming more visible these days. Nowadays, there is a swift inclination in the income and the life expectancy has also increased which is the major root cause for such lavish weddings. The reasons and my inclination is discussed below. 

The first and foremost reason is, in comparison with past years individuals tend to work harder to receive higher financial rewards which will improve living conditions. In addition to this, these wedding memories are unforgettable and one can cherish it all life as it is the most significant part of every individual’s life. For instance, my family spent a fortune when my sister got married few months back because we wanted to make his big day memorable as it was a once-a-life experience. For the above mentioned reasons people are willing to pay for the lavish wedding costs.  

In my preference it is a positive trend, as people will learn and earn more to spen loads of money on weddings and this will indirectly sure the economy. For example, a recent study conducted in China has revealed that the growing domestic consumption in recent years has made meaningful contributions to the economical growth. 

To put it in the nutshell, people are spending more money on weddings than ever before. This essay discussed how this shift occurred, including higher pay and the search for unique memories. This essay also explained why the advantages of this tendency are superior.
