Model Sample Answer 1 Band 8 - Wild animals have no place in the 21st century, so protecting them is a waste of resources. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some people contend that because wildlife has been disappearing in recent years at an alarming rate, implementing any plan to safeguard endangered species would be a waste of money. However, I tend to reject this notion.

On the one hand, one could argue that the rate at which wild species are going extinct right now is indeed worrying. The rapid increase in the global population, which has led to an increased need for new buildings and roads, is one of the primary contributors to this deforestation. The efforts of human society to become self-sufficient in terms of food production have led to the destruction of natural ecosystems. Because of this, there have been fewer opportunities for wild animals to thrive, which has led to their population decline.

However, I believe it is critical to use resources to safeguard wild animals because I believe their preservation is critical for both living beings and a healthy ecosystem. If we do not take specific steps to save animal lives, the biodiversity and surroundings will suffer. As a result, it will have a disastrous result on the food sequence for all life forms. As a result, the government must take greater action to implement various methods to ensure the survival of wild animals. The government and the institution in charge of enforcing the law should also ensure that more zoos are built and organic areas are protected.

In conclusion, I will argue that wild animals are an important part of our world and that because of this, we should do everything that is in our ability to protect them. I will support this position by stating that wild animals are an essential component.

Model Sample Answer 2 Band 7.5 - Wild animals have no place in the 21st century, so protecting them is a waste of resources. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The most significant life forms on our planet are those that live in the wild. Many people held the view that there was no reason to preserve modern animals as endangered species. This is something I completely disagree with since I think that these things are good for our society.

The first justification for conserving wild animals is that their hides are utilized in the production of leather, while their bodies are subjected to clinical trials of various medicines. To put it another way, if wild animals are not preserved or if people are unable to breed them in an appropriate manner, then these creatures will not be able to gain any benefits from this, and neither will humans be able to develop any new medical therapies.

The second advantage of having wild animals is that children are able to get fresh knowledge about such creatures by going to the zoo and interacting with them. People of all ages, but youngsters, in particular, receive knowledge about these animals' diets, appearances, and other features of their natural environments when they are confined in zoos. In addition, without the preservation of wild creatures, it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to keep a healthy ecosystem.

As a result, I disagree with the notion that wild animals should not be conserved because they are necessary for children to learn about and expand their knowledge of, as well as for the production of various types of leather from their skin and the testing of medications. Wild animals are helpful for kids to learn about and broaden their knowledge.

Model Sample Answer 3 Band 7 - Wild animals have no place in the 21st century, so protecting them is a waste of resources. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

According to others, spending money on protecting animals is incredibly wasteful because they don't do anything to advance humankind. I completely disagree with this viewpoint since I think they play an important role in the twenty-first century.

The fact that wild animals play an important role in the production of medication is the primary argument in favor of the relevance of these creatures. Researchers are now able to test a wide range of methodologies on animals as a direct result of technological advancements. It has been shown that cells from a wide variety of species have the potential to be exploited in the development of innovative treatments and therapies for a wide variety of diseases, including cancer and heart issues.

In addition, wild animals contribute to the maintenance of ecological balance in their respective ecosystems. In point of fact, animals, in addition to people and plants, are an integral part of the ecosystem. These components operate in tandem to have an influence and interact with one another in a chain. Because of this, we may draw the conclusion that changing one species will invariably have an effect on all of the other species. Therefore, if we continue to do nothing to stop the number of wild animals from falling, the ecological balance will eventually become unbalanced, which would have a severe influence not just on human life but also on plant life.

In conclusion, I believe that it is of the utmost importance to conserve animals since it is not only the outcome of human actions, but it also allows for the preservation of the natural equilibrium of habitat.

Model Sample Answer 4 Band 6.5 - Wild animals have no place in the 21st century, so protecting them is a waste of resources. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Most people believe wild animals have no place in the 21st century, despite being crucial to our planet. They believe protecting animals is a waste of resources and budgets and has little to offer humanity's growth. I disagree and feel all humans should work to protect animals.

Firstly, as I made clear above, many individuals believe that the existence of wildlife is a squandering of natural resources and government funds. However, there are far more advantages than drawbacks to coexisting alongside live creatures and people on the same planet. People must avoid destroying the plants, jungles, and forests that are necessary for maintaining the ecosystem's balance in order to protect the animals. Additionally, governments allot a specific sum of money each year for substances that are bad for human lives and health, such as cigarettes, alcohol, and other narcotics. We would have a better outcome and healthier humankind if these funds were used to safeguard animals.

Secondly, the idea that there would be no room for live wild creatures is preposterous and foolish. There are still parts of the planet that are unreachable to humans and inhospitable, which might be regarded as a paradise for animals, even if it is the 21st century and technology is continually developing. Therefore, if coexisting with animals on such a large planet is possible, then murdering them and bringing about their extinction are exclusively human follies and acts of selfishness.

After examining the key elements of the matter, I feel that the only reasonable conclusion is that not only authorities but also individuals should make every effort to conserve animals and prevent the loss of endangered species.
