Describe a skill you want to learn - Model answer 1

Introduction

It is essential to learn new skills in order to make our personality noticeable and attractive. And I feel glad to talk about this topic.

What was it? 

At first, I used to travel everywhere by public transportation. Hence, it was difficult for me to reach on time. Then I decided to learn to drive.

How would you learn it? Or where can you learn it?

There are many training institutions in my city that provide car training. In fact, one of them is next to my house. So I will pay a visit there to ask about all the details. Apart from training, I can practice at night with my father also.

And explain why you want to learn it. 

There are many justifications for learning this skill. Firstly, to get there on time by public transportation, I have to suffer a lot. Sometimes I have to wake up 3 hours prior to my morning lectures to reach my destined target. Secondly, I can take my family members wherever they want to. I mean, to travel together, we had to wait for our father to come, but now we don't have to. Last but not least, my travel costs will be reduced.

Conclusion 

Now, I can utilize my traveling time for other tasks. This is a real-life skill for me.

Introduction

Skills are the building blocks of our life. It determines part of our life. Well, there are various skills to be mastered. 

What was it? 

But I would like to talk about one such skill, which I surely want to learn, and that is sketching. I always feel that sketching on paper would allow me to express my ideas more clearly than painting or drawing.

How would you learn it? 

I can learn by practicing drawing artistry. Actually, my main aim is to learn the basic structures of this skill. I also want to learn how to simply put my ideas on the sheet.

Where can you learn it?

There are several institutions in my town that furnish pedagogy on these subjects from the start. I think I will pay a visit to a few reputed ones, and then I will decide where to learn.

And explain why you want to learn it. 

Sketching is one of the most emotive art forms. One can express his thoughts simply on paper. Drawing is my hobby, and whenever I feel upset or bored, I merely start to do crafts, as it works as a relaxation tool for me. Additionally, music with drawing works as icing on a cake for me. I have tried almost all the art forms but haven't tried this one, so I just want to learn to make my own masterpiece.

Conclusion 

Well, it's good to learn different things as it will help us in a later phase or somewhere in the future. There is a saying that “education will not go to waste, as it will help you at any point in your life."

Definitely, yes. It is a true fact that “books are man’s best friend."  People of all ages like to read books. It's just something of interest.

According to me, reading and writing are the most important practical skills. Through this, one can stay aware of the things happening around them.

3. What kind of job requires practical skills?
Every job requires practicability to some extent because everything is not theoretical in the workplace.

4. What kinds of skills are difficult to learn?
Skills that need precision are difficult to learn. For instance, cutting a diamond, welding, doing dentist jobs, and many more.

5. How can you teach your skills to others?
Well, I think it is quite difficult to teach others. But if we have to try to do that, we can provide our own techniques or methods and also a deep knowledge of how to learn it properly. Moreover, they can learn by closely observing the person.

6. Do you like to learn new skills constantly?
Definitely yes. I like to learn new skills. It gives me a sense of inner joy that cannot be described.

7. What age will make it difficult for a person to learn a skill?
Well, learning always depends on interest, not age. For example, if I teach something to my younger brother, then it will be difficult for him to learn it as he is not interested in that subject.

8. What kinds of communication skills are important?
All communication skills are mandatory as each one has its own importance.

9. Which one is more important, cooking or driving a car?
Well, for me, cooking is more important, as you can travel by public transport but you cannot eat street food every day.

10. What’s the most important skill a person needs to have?
From my perspective, an individual should learn all skills. But the most important skill is communication, as language skills are the most important. 

11. What kinds of professions require practical skills?
A profession with artistic work requires practical skills, as the professional has to think creatively to make the product more unique.

12. Who will you learn a skill from, friends, teachers, or parents?
No matter who the person is or whatever the source is, I can learn from wherever I get detailed knowledge and a clear understanding of that particular ability.

13. Is a good teacher very important for a student's learning experience? Why?
Of course, yes. Along with teaching, teachers must make sure that students are interested in what they are learning. In addition, youngsters today are easily swayed and often irritable. The teacher won't be able to teach anything if he can't get and maintain their focus.

14. Do you think boys and girls should learn the same skills?
In this modern era, there are no gender differences in anything. That's why I think that both girls and boys can learn the same abilities. For instance, nowadays, boys like to cook and girls want to be pilots.

15. What skills do students need to master?
Scholastically, I believe students must grasp competencies such as reading, math, and public speaking. Nonacademically, I believe that skills such as cooking, money management, driving, and so on are essential for every pupil. In addition, in the present era, all of us should strive to be technically minded.

16. What’s the most difficult thing to learn?
The difficulty is an idiosyncratic thing. Something that is easy for one must be tough for others to grasp.

17. Why do girls like shopping?
Actually, girls love shopping. Because there are so many varieties in almost everything and it's also fun. Shopping makes girls happy.

18. What’s the difference between children learning what they like and learning what they have to learn?
If children are taught to learn something, then they will grasp it easily, but if they are forced to learn something, then it will become a heavy-hearted approach for them.

19. Will the age of 5 or 20 be better?
It completely depends upon the skills. If the skill is cooking, then it will be good at 20, but if it is related to academics, then 5 is as good as 20.
