Introduction:
  The word writer is often used to refer to a person who writes books/novels to be published. Here I am going to share about a writer whom I would like to meet.

Who the writer is?
  Perumal Murugan is an Indian writer. He did Tamil literature as Undergraduate in Erode, Post Graduation in Coimbatore, M.Phil from Madras University In Tamil studies and his doctoral thesis on the works of author R.Shanmugasundaram. He has written twelve novels, six short stories, six collections of poetry and many non-fiction books. Ten of his novels have been translated into English.

What you know about this writer already? 
  Perumal Murugan was born on October 15, 1966. He is from the agricultural family who had small land near Tiruchengode in Namakkal district, Tamil nadu. His father is a farmer and he enlarges his family income by running a soda shop. His most popular book is Poonachi(2018): The story of a black goat.

What you would like to find out about him/her?
   I would like to find out the failure time of his career, how he faced and overcame it? Why did he decide this work as his career?, what are the homeworks has he done to write a book?.

He has received “Sahitya Akademi’s translation prize” in 2017 for his novel Madhorubhagan, “Fakir Mohan National Literary Award” in 2022 from Fakir Mohan University odisha, “International Booker Prize” in 2023 for the english translation of Murugan’s Novel “Pyre”  and “JCB Prize” in 2023 for his novel ‘Firebird’.

• Writers are also called as author’s, journalists it all depending on the genre and profession.
• Here I am going to share about a writer whom I would like to meet.

Who the writer is?

• C.S. Lakshmi was born in 1944 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.  
• She grew up in Mumbai and Bangalore, she did her BA from Bangalore university,  MA in Madras christian college and P.hD from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi.
• After finishing her education, she worked as a school teacher and college lecturer in Tamil Nadu.
• She was married to Vishnu Mathur. He is a filmmaker and they lived in Mumbai.

What you know about this writer already?

• In 1962, when she was a teenager she wrote a book Nandimalai Charalilae and it was her first publication. 
• She started her serious work in fiction. It is the Tamil novel Andhi Maalai and it came out in 1966.
• Also her novel has received the "Kalaimagal Narayanaswamy Aiyar" award.
• Then she wrote a short story Siragukal Muriyum in 1967 and she published it in the literary magazine Kanaiyazhi. 
• Later this story was published in the form of a book as a part of short story collections with the same name in 1976. 
• Also she has been a researcher in the field of women’s studies for over 30 years.
• Currently she is a member of the University of Michigan’s Global Feminisms Project.

• What was the most favorite story from which she wrote?, and why did she love it?

A person who writes books/novels to publish, It may be in a different genre. Here I am going to share about a writer whom I would like to meet. 

Who the writer is?
Ashwin sanghi is an Indian writer, he  was born on 25 January 1969. He was an entrepreneur and Author. Sanghi did his school at the Cathedral and John Connon school, he did Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St.Xavier’s college and he did MBA in Yale school of Management. 

What you know about this writer already? 
In the day he was an entrepreneur and at night an Author. He did his family business in1993 and he started writing his first novel in 2006. His novels include:Sialkot Saga, keepers of The kalachaktra, The Magicians of Mazda, the Krishna key, The Rozabal Line, Chanakya’s Chant and The Vault of Vishnu, this these novels Chanakya’s Chant and The Krishna key were available in 4 other languages(English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu). The genre of his novels are Thriller, Mystery fiction, Conspiracy fiction.

What you would like to find out about him/her?
I would like to find out the reason behind why he decided on these genres?By whom he was inspired? Did he try any other genres? Are there any failed or dropout novels of his?

• A writer is a person who uses words to write in different styles, genres and techniques to communicate ideas.
• Here I am going to share about a writer whom I would like to meet.

Who the writer is?

• Imayam, his real name was V.Annamalai. He is an Indian novelist from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. 
• He was born in 1964 in a peasant family. He did his college education at Periyar E.V.R college at Tiruchirappalli. 
• Sir Albert was his professor from Trichy; he has opened his door toward the world. 
• He later moved to Viruddhachalam and continued his work.

What you know about this writer already?

• Imayam’s brother was an Labour Welfare and Skill Development Minister of Tamil Nadu
• He wrote seven novels, eight short stories and a novella to his credit. 
• He was hand in hand with the Dravidian Movement.
• He is the first Tamil writer to receive the Kuvempu Rashtriya Puraskar
• National Award 2022, for introducing new sensibilities to Tamil Literature. 
• He has won many prestigious Awards, including the Tamil Nadu Progressive writer’s Association Award (1994), the Thamizh Thendral Thiru.Vi.Ka.Award(2009), the Amudhan Adigal Literary Award(1998) etc.

• I would like to find out how many years he was in this field? Did he face any struggles during his work?
• What made him associate with that movement?
• Why did he choose this language to write a novel?
