Describe an area in your home where you feel relaxed - Model answer 1

Introduction:
In this busy world we all need some time to relax. But it is difficult to find a good place to keep ourselves relaxed. Here I am going to talk about a place where I feel relaxed in my home.

In which area/room do you feel relaxed?
I felt most relaxed in my bedroom, which is on the terrace of the house. My room was fully decorated with my favorite things. Like dolls of cartoon characters, some soft lights. It looks so pleasant and the room seems so calm. I feel so comfortable in that place.

Why do you feel relaxed there?
This is the place where I spend most of my time. Because that is the place where I keep myself alone without any disturbance. Also, my room is behind the terrace garden. That place seems so calm and pleasant.

What do you do to feel relaxed?
Whenever I feel low or stressed I just lay on my bed. Sometimes I listen to music or watch comic stories in my tab, playing video games. As I said my room was behind the terrace garden so I went there to do some gardening work, when we distract our mind to some other work it will feel good and reduce our stress.

Conclusion:
All we need is some gap in between our busy times to relax ourselves. In my opinion  Make sure the place where you feel relaxed should be pleasant and calm. It helps us to distract our mind from stress or other problems and to feel relaxed.

Describe an area in your home where you feel relaxed - Model answer 2

Introduction:

In this busy world, no one is there without stress or any other problems, they all need some relaxation. People are searching some place outside to make themselves relax. But I love to stay at home, especially in one of my favorite places. Here, I am going to share about the place where I feel relaxed in my home.

In which area/room do you feel relaxed?

The place where I feel relaxed in my home is the veranda, which is a roofed platform along with the outside of a house, where we park our motorbike. That place is filled with my pets like doves, dogs, rabbits and love birds, along with a few plants and trees.  It is covered with an aluminum sheet to prevent direct sunlight and rain. Also a few days back, I brought a new swing to hang there.

Why do you feel relaxed there?

As I already said, this place is filled with my pets, which I love the most. It makes me feel relaxed while playing with my pets and spending time with them. Also I like to see how my dog plays with the ball. Sometimes it seems crazy and funny.

What do you do to feel relaxed?

Before hanging the swing, I used to sit in the chair under the tree and start to listen to music with my earphones. Listening to music will definitely help us to relax. Sometimes, I play with my pets and, now after hanging my swing, I used to play swing and do funny activities like making my pets swing.

Conclusion:

Relaxation is not only sitting simply and observing our surroundings or lying on bed or sleeping. Doing our favorite work or doing something crazy will also help us to relax.

Describe an area in your home where you feel relaxed - Model answer 3

Introduction:

We all have a specific place to relax ourselves, some would like to relax in the bedroom, some in the living room and also some in the garden. Here, I am gonna talk about my favorite place where I feel relaxed, and whenever I feel stressed.

In which area/ room do you feel relaxed?

My favorite place to relax is in my home's kitchen. Yes, I think this is different to all of you. This is my favorite place in my home. I used to spend most of my leisure time here.

Why do you feel relaxed there?

Some have a habit to read books or listen to music when they feel stressed or when they need to stay relaxed. But I would like to cook and try new dishes. There will be no one who doesn't love to eat or to try new dishes.

What do you do to feel relaxed?

I had tried many new dishes by learning from my mother and from youtube. Like pastries, cookies, and other dishes. My most favorite thing in the kitchen is baking cakes with new and different flavors. And I love to organize my kitchen, so I do it with new sets at least twice a month. By changing them it looks neat and clean.

Conclusion:

We all have a habit of doing the same thing again and again, whenever we have done successful things. Like, that one of my dishes tasted good and my family members appreciated me. This makes me spend more time in the kitchen.

Describe an area in your home where you feel relaxed - IELTS speaking part 3 follow-up questions

This is the last part of the IELTS speaking test, this would be conducted in about 4-5 minutes, this part is followed with some follow up questions related to this topic. Here we have given follow up questions related to the topic describe an area in your home where you feel relax. As a sample, it may help you for your upcoming exams.

1. Do you think exercise is important for mental and physical health?

It’s a fact that exercise is very important to be stable in both mental and physical health. In fact it helps us to reduce our stress, get rid of diseases. Because it gives us more confidence with our looks and helps us to be more social.

2. Why do people feel stressful all the time?

People have many reasons to increase their stress in their lives. One is expectations, people expect more than reality, they create their own expectations by watching movies or listening to stories. Once they create their own expectation, when it fails in reality, they are bound to be stressed. Secondly, people compare them with other people. Once they started comparing automatically, competition got started. If they seem down while comparing themselves to their competitor, they overthink about it and it creates stress on them.

3. Do you think there should be classes for teaching young people and children how to be relaxed?

In my opinion, instead of having classes for how to be relaxed, it can be explained in books or in any mobile app and through television, both young people and children won’t like to attend classes. Because in their free time they both like to do their loved activities, young people like to scroll mobile phones and children like to watch television.

4. Why should people need relaxation?

Relaxation helps us to decrease the stress effects on your mind and body, also it helps us to stay happy. Also after relaxation we feel fresh and energetic. Relaxation gives a clearer mind, positive thinking, concentration etc.

5. Do you think vacation is a good time to relax?

Definitely, during vacation time we feel stress free. Because when we went on vacation to some other place we started to enjoy the atmosphere around us. We forget all our work pressure and other problems.
