A cue card with a topic is presented to you. IELTS Speaking Part 2 requires you to Describe your Childhood friend in at least two minutes. You will have one minute to consider your next words. Introduction 

Nobody ever forgets their childhood; it is the most wonderful moment of life. People whom we initially meet and then eventually we form a bond with one or some of them. Childhood has its own charm and special qualities, and some of our best friends come from that time.

Who is this person?

One such acquaintance that I can still remember is Jaya. Our friendship only lasted a year until she and her parents relocated to a new town.

How did you become friends with this person?

On my inaugural day of school, I got to know her. Due to rush-hour traffic, I was running late for class. When I arrived in my classroom, I assumed that all of the seats had been claimed, so I began searching frantically for a seat. My name was being called out, and the teacher told everyone to find a seat for me. I discovered that one of the girls was urging me to move over and sit next to her. I was delighted that she was Jaya.

What kinds of things do you like to do with this person?

We used to assist each other. She was good at sports, and I was good at schoolwork. As a result, we supported one another when we were weak. She was a good badminton player, and when we tried paragliding together, she inspired me and helped me overcome my fear of heights. I loved it. In the near future, I would adore doing this risky action with her once more.

Explain why you like him/her.

She inspires me, and I appreciate the care she shows. She kept me amused by telling jokes and delivered motivational stories, so I never get bored being around her.

Conclusion

My life was touched by our friendship because it taught me the value of persistence and determination.

Introduction
Childhood friends hold a particular place in our lives because they have taught us so much and allowed us to experience so many things together. 

Who is this person?
I would like to talk about Juhi, a childhood friend of mine. She originally came across as reserved and timid, but she was actually pretty pleasant.  
How did you become friends with this person?
When we initially met, we were in the same first-grade class. She was pretty candid, which caught my interest because I am too, and that's how we connected.

What kinds of things do you like to do with this person?
We got along fantastically and socialised together all the time. We enjoyed playing games when we were little, and hopscotch was a particular favourite. We would also go on excursions in the summer holidays, like exploring the forests behind our neighbourhood.

Explain why you like him/her.
I liked Juhi since she was always curious and adventurous. Because of her tolerance and compassion, she was an excellent friend. When we visited the zoo together and saw a young elephant for the first time, that is one particular memory I treasure. We talked about the elephant's sweetness and playfulness for days because we were both in awe of them.

Conclusion
Our connection changed my life by demonstrating me the importance of showing others, warmth and sensitivity.

Introduction
It is both energising and reassuring to talk about our "old" pals, especially if they are acquaintances from our youth. So, since it brings up so many pleasant memories, I'd like to tell you about one of my childhood friends.

Who is this person?
He was called "Sunny," and I first met him at an inter-school painting competition, where students from several districts came to my school to compete against one another. 

How did you become friends with this person?
Sunny was the star painter for one of our rivals, so I wanted to ask him for some general friendly advice. Despite the fact that we don't see each other nearly as frequently as we did while we were students, Sunny and I have stayed friends ever since we first met.

What kinds of things do you like to do with this person?
Early on in our friendship, Sunny used to travel to visit me from his town, and I did the same for him. We would engage in various kinds of activities together, including kite flying, swimming, hanging out in cafes and restaurants, watching films, and occasionally playing chess. On rare occasions, during our summer vacations and other extended holidays, we used to visit several fascinating painting exhibitions within our own homeland.

Explain why you like him/her.
I loved Sunny for a lot of reasons, but what really makes him stand out from the pack is his upbeat and helpful demeanour.

Conclusion
We shared a close friendship that was based on a solid connection. We attempted to support one another when necessary.

IELTS Speaking Part 3- Describe your Childhood friend Follow-up questions.

The following are Follow-up questions to "Describe your Childhood friend." This section of the exam lasts for approximately 4-5 minutes, during which you must explain questions related to a general subject or questions from your cue card.

1. How do people make new friends?
   People enjoy making new acquaintances. They actually meet people at school, in the neighbourhood, in clubs, in the gym, and on social media. It is the modern method of internet dating and creating new friends. Otherwise, conventional methods are always employed to meet new people.
2. What do you think makes people have a long friendship?
   I think that the foundations of transparency and trustworthiness are the strong bases upon which friendships are built. This actually aids in the formation of strong bonds and enduring friendships between two individuals.
3. Does it make things easier in a friendship if you have similar interests?
   Unquestionably, if two people have similar tastes, they will communicate frequently. I think it's true that people with similar interests attract one another and that this fosters strong relationships between them since they can spend time together engaging in their favourite pastimes, exchanging ideas and opinions, and supporting one another's success.
