A few decades before, there was a huge belief that the responsibility of earning is only for male, whereas women were expected to take care of their family and do the household chores. But in the current contemporary Indian society this is not the case. It is believed that the responsibilities of earning should be divided between partners. Here I am going to share my opinion with the statement “In marriages today, some argue that it is the responsibility of both spouses to earn a living for the family”. 

Firstly, financial independence is very important in today’s competitive world. With the increased cost of living, single source earning is not sufficient for a family. By having multiple sources of income, spouses not only satisfy their immediate financial needs, but also save for the future and be better prepared to face challenging times. 

Furthermore, in today’s society there are many families facing multifaceted financial commitments like children’s education expenses, mortgages, loans, EMIs and health expenses. Hence the shared financial responsibilities among partners will help them to manage these challenges without difficulties. Also it is one of the best ideas to lead a happy life. 
 
In conclusion, I really agree with the statement that “In marriages today, some argue that it is the responsibility of both spouses to earn a living for the family”. I firmly believe that both spouses should be responsible to earn for their family.

In recent times it is widely acknowledged that it is the shared responsibility of both the partners in uplifting the financial well-being of the family. In my point of view, I really agree with the statement "In marriages today, some argue that it is the responsibility of both spouses to earn a living for the family”. And now I am going to give my reason for the same. 

The role of money is crucial when it comes to maintaining a healthy and happy family. Both spouses are responsible to earn money to sustain their budget. Because in this modern era it is very difficult to have a healthy and happy lifestyle with just one source of income. Therefore both spouses should work together to enhance their economic stability to improve their standard of living.

Furthermore, if they have kids, they should consider the expenses for their kids' education, leisure time activities and other things. At that time dual salaries can help a family to lead a happy lifestyle, with less problems. Additionally, shared financial responsibilities make both partners to be more independent and have a sense of equality within the marriage life.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that it is the joint responsibility of both spouses to earn a living for the family. It will help them to maintain their household budget and they can save money for their future life or for the emergency situation. Also they both will feel equal and appreciated.

In today’s world, some people agree with the statement that it is the responsibility of both spouses to earn for the family. But another part of people disagree with the statement and they believe that it should be the sole responsibility of a man to earn. However, here I am going to share my opinion about the statement that it is the responsibility of both partners to earn for their family.

First point is that marriage is the responsibility of two people. Where they should be responsible for everything in their family like earning, cooking, taking care of family members etc. Therefore a breadwinner is not enough to maintain a good lifestyle. If both partners work together, they will improve their family’s standard of living.

Apart from these positive impacts of sharing the responsibility of earning, it has few negative impacts too. This will affect their personal life, when both partners are running behind earning money, they will not have much time for each other, additionally it can have an adverse affect on children's mental health.

To summarize, although sharing the responsibility of earning money among spouses can have drawbacks, it also has positive effects such as improving their living standard and economic stability. Furthermore, I believe that both partners should share the responsibility of providing for their family from earning to household chores. It can alleviate their workload and reduce the stress they may experience.

As a result of economic and societal change, a group of individuals hold the belief that couples should work together to create a happier and healthier family. However, there is another group that believes earning money is the sole responsibility of one partner. In this essay, I will express my opinion on the statement “In marriages today, some argue that it is the responsibility of both spouses to earn a living for the family.”

Collaboration is often emphasized as being crucial. This implies that by working together, individuals can successfully accomplish their objectives. Similarly, when a couple collaborates, they can reduce their financial burdens. This not only enables them to meet their immediate needs but also allows them to plan for their children's future.

But there are individuals who argue that providing for the family is solely the responsibility of the husband, and they expect the wife to stay at home and take care of the children, in-laws and household chores. Consequently, this mindset can lead to issues such as financial problems, health problems, and mental health issues. In case if both partners are employed, they can support each other in all circumstances. This is particularly important in the event that one partner loses their job or dies, as the other can take charge of their family without facing any hardship.

Over all, I agree with the statement “ In marriages today, some argue that it is the responsibility of both spouses to earn a living for the family”.
