Introduction

Well, I prefer not to put my decisions on others, and the same holds true for myself. I clearly recall this event from my life. Every time I think about this day, I feel proud of who I am. My opposition was not only forceful but also profound.

What you disagreed with?

It was 2 years ago when I was in the first year of my diploma. Our class had a new student, and a number of classmates began to harass him. I vehemently disagreed with them and courageously expressed my viewpoint.

What was the decision? And How was it made? 

During the lunch break, they all got together and decided to do something unexpected. One individual proposed hiding the newcomer's lunch the following day and calling him derogatory names. Everyone else quickly concurred with the proposition. I suppose they were all extremely bored and hence desired to pull a prank. The concept did not appeal to me in any way.

I told them to abandon this line of thought. They ignored my appeal for consideration and continued to plan the programme. I stood my ground and informed them of my divergent viewpoint. I made it clear that if they did this, I would file a complaint with the appropriate authority.

And explain why you disagreed with it?

I disagreed with my peers since their decision was disrespectful and inaccurate. I do not believe that we should enjoy ourselves at the expense of others' feelings. I considered the position of the newcomer with care. Everyone eventually grasped my view.

Conclusion

Finally, they all understood the lesson and decided not to harass anyone. Hence, I am relieved to know that I was able to keep someone from getting hurt.

Introduction

• Everyone must make decisions sometimes.
• Some decisions are supported by everyone, while others are disliked by everyone.

What you disagreed with?

• It was 3 years ago when I was in 10th class. 
• My friends decided to bunk classes as they wanted to go to watch movies. 
• I disagreed with this view strongly. 

What was the decision? And How was it made? 

• They made the decision immediately prior to our preliminary tests. 
• They decided to skip classes and see a movie instead. 
• So they decided to meet in a park during school hours without informing their parents. 
• Due to the tests and upcoming syllabus, I disagreed with their decision and attempted to persuade them otherwise.

And explain why you disagreed with it?

• First, the concept of skipping school did not seem appropriate to me.
• My reasoning led me to conclude that attending a movie without parental consent was impossible.
• I suggested that they see the movie on a Sunday morning after receiving permission from our parents.
• But they were insistent, compelling me to accompany them.
• I was in a predicament since I did not want to let my friends down.
• However, my father is quite strict.
• I anticipated that if he found out, he would be quite upset and even stop speaking to me for days.
• So I told my buddies a firm no and tried to dissuade them from skipping school.
• However, they disagreed and went to the movie.

Conclusion

• I recall feeling quite free after deciding not to accompany them.
• I cannot even consider lying to or hiding something from my parents.

Introduction

I have always stood firm in my view. I have always obeyed my parents and their decisions. However in the past, I had to disagree with a few of their decisions. Here, I would like to discuss a family choice with which I strongly disagreed.

What you disagreed with?

I was so excited about getting a motorcycle throughout my early university years, primarily because I grew up riding on an old motorcycle with my energetic yet elderly grandfather. Nonetheless, when I was still in high school, my grandfather passed away, leaving no one to care for his old motorcycle.

What was the decision? And How was it made? 

Therefore, whenever my parents attempted to get rid of or sell that old motorcycle, I strongly resisted that idea. However, after I purchased my own motorcycle as a university student, the issue of getting rid of the old motorcycle resurfaced as it became difficult to park my newly-purchased motorcycle.

Even though I disagreed with the decision, my father opted to sell the old motorcycle to create room for the new one. I cannot fault my parents for this decision. Ultimately, they had no other choice at that time.

And explain why you disagreed with it?

In any case, I disagreed with the choice, partly due to the fact that the old motorcycle held a lot of sentimental and amusing significance for me. It was a very powerful and old machine, and I wanted to preserve it as an old antique so that I might tell its narrative to my own family and children in the future.

Conclusion

Thus, I chose to stand by my opinion, which resulted in a disagreement with my parents, but they eventually came around and did not sell the motorcycle.

IELTS speaking part 3 - Describe a decision made by others you disagreed with follow-up questions

Additionally, individuals can communicate with their pals and share their circumstances. Their buddies are able to assist others by sharing their experiences and providing sound advice.

4.Do parents in India allow their children to make significant future decisions?

To be honest, no Indian parents permit their children to make significant future decisions. In childhood, parents make decisions, and when their children begin college, they advise and assist them with course selection. However, this greatly aids the youngster in picking the field since they may otherwise be confused by the courses.

5.Do you think that parents should make important decisions for their children?

My perspective is that parents should assist their children in making significant decisions, rather than making decisions for them because doing so makes them dependent and erodes their self-confidence. They should have a conversation with their children and evaluate their interests without forcing them.

6.How do teachers assist students in making wise life choices?

Teachers play a crucial effect in the achievement of their students. They can assist kids with discovering their passions and how to pursue them successfully. In addition, they can assist them to improve life skills such as time management, communication, and many more. All of these factors aid people in making sensible selections in life.
