1. Know the format of the IELTS speaking section

The IELTS Speaking Part 1 will follow a particular format which will be conducted as a face-to-face interview with a qualified IELTS examiner. It will start after the interviewer introduces themselves and checks your identity. He will ask basic questions like what you do or where you live.
