The IELTS Speaking module consists of three sections that evaluate the candidate's English speaking skills. The topic IELTS speaking part 1 weather is related to introduction and interview. In the IELTS speaking part 1 examination, the examiner will ask questions about yourself. For your preparation, we have given you a handful of sample questions for IELTS speaking part 1 weather.

Weather IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions With Answer

Question 1. What is the weather usually like in your hometown?

Answer:- Well, the climate in my hometown is warm, and I've found that people are generally satisfied to make it their home as they don't like to deal with extreme temperatures.

Question 2. What’s your favourite weather?

Answer:- Actually, I like the cool weather since it gives me an opportunity to wear my wide variety of cardigans and jackets. Additionally, I can eat a wide range of veggies.

Question 3. Do you like the weather in your hometown?

Answer:- As I've previously said, the climate in my hometown is a bit of a mixed bag. However, Denizens are so pleased with the pleasant climate that they spend most of their time outdoors in the morning and evening.

Question 4. Do you like wet weather?

Answer:- Absolutely yes, I like the wet climate. The only time I really don't enjoy it is when it's raining, which isn't very often. However, fritters and coffee are perfect for this weather.

Question 5. Do you prefer wet or dry weather?

Answer:- Since I've previously told you, I like rainy days. I feel joy from both the act of making paper boats and the panorama of rain on plants.

Question 6. Do you like hot and dry weather?

Answer:- No, I don't prefer any of them.

Question 7. What do you do in hot weather?

Answer:- When it's really hot outside, I like to stay in my room and watch TV while snacking on some of my favorite fritters. I don't really have any thought-provoking habits, and I like to spend my time at home.

Question 8. Is there any part of your country where it does not rain much?

Answer:- Yes, some regions of my nation get less rainwater than others, such as the arid sands of Rajasthan. The absence of rain reduces the crop growth and leaves people without enough water to drink.

Question 9. Can you remember any time when it rained particularly heavily in your hometown?

Answer:- Yes, I recall it being my birthday day, and I had desired to go outdoors with my friends. The rain, meanwhile, was relentless. It was the month of August. As a result, I reneged on all of my plans and spent my birthday indoors at my house due to the severe rain.

Question 10. Does rain ever affect transportation in your hometown?

Answer:- Yes, In fact, when it rains laboriously, transportation services like buses often get disrupted. If it is about service, it will significantly shelve their plans. Not only that, but they have to rely on their own cars to travel from point A to point B.

Question 11. Do you like sunshine? Why?

Answer:- Of course yes, when it's freezing outside, I find that sunbathing in the sun is a great way to warm up my body, thus wintertime is when I most look forward to spending time in the sun. When the weather is nice, I like sleeping on a cot in my courtyard. Joy fills me when I am relaxing in the sunlight.

Question 12. Do you like going outside on the weekends on sunny days?

Answer:- No, on weekends, when I have a spacious sundeck where I can sleep and eat my favorite fruits, oranges, and papaya, I don't bother leaving the house, even if there is a brilliant sun shining down.

Question 13. Does it rain a lot in your hometown?

Answer:-  It all depends on the season. The equatorial weather causes a lack of rain during the winter and spring. In contrast, it usually rains cats and dogs in the summer and August, causing a lot of problems for motorists.

Question 14. Are you in the habit of checking the weather forecast? When/How often?

Answer:- Yeah, I've had this routine since I was in preschool, and now I merely check my phone for the forecast every morning before I go to work. When I'm planning a weekend outing with my friends, I'll also keep an eye on the forecast. It would be a tragedy if we were drenched in the rain.

Question 15. Does the weather affect people’s lives in your country?

Answer:- Yes, very much so. Gray skies persist throughout the day, and dusk sets very quickly in the winter. Some people become down and out as the days get shorter, therefore I can see why the use of alcoholic quenchers like wine and whiskey increases dramatically throughout the winter months.
